Demon Slayer Season 2 Premiere Date, Mugen Train Arc Announced

The date of the premiere of the movie Demon Slayer 2 has finally been set, as has the recently announced 7-episode Mugen Train Arc.

The long-awaited release date for Demon Slayer Season 2’s Entertainment District Arc has been revealed, along with the surprising news regarding the Mugen Train Arc, which will edit the events from the film into seven television-sized episodes.

The much-anticipated Entertainment District Arc will begin airing on December. 5. The series will start with a one-hour special episode. A veteran voice actress Miyuki Sawashiro, who previously appeared in Bakemonogatari as well as Durarara! The actor will join the show’s Japanese voice cast for this season. She will play the character of Daki Daki, one of the new antagonists in the show. Japanese pop singer Aimer will sing new closing and opening theme song for this portion of the show. The series will adapt an arc that is among the top popular stories from the manga. The creators of the show have also wowed fans by announcing an arc called the Mugen Train Arc. The new season will begin airing on October. 10 and will edit the record-breaking 2021 Mugen Train movie into a seven-episode arc. The premiere episode will feature a completely new story , which will show the story of how Flame hashira Kyojuro Rengoku was transported to the infamous Mugen Train. The singer LiSA who sang the season’s opening track “Gurenge,” will return to compose new music for this episode.

Each of Funimation as well as Crunchyroll have confirmed that they will be simulcasting both of the arcs in Demon Slayer as they air in Japan. Funimation has previously launched its Mugen Train movie in theaters as well as on its streaming service. It will also release the film on Blu-ray later in the year.
