The dazzlingly animated battle was greeted with a overwhelmingly positive response from the majority of fans due to the thrilling action as well as its emotional narrative. The battle sees Naruto using his deadly and risky alter ego, Baryon Mode, which was first revealed in the last episode to gain an advantage over Otsutsuki. Baryon Mode allows Naruto to mix Kurama’s chakra with his which is a dangerous process which could end up reducing the lifespan of the Hokage, but it also gives him access an energy form which is so powerful it even shocks Sasuke as well as Ishiki. The episode also contains a lot of flashbacks to the past of Kawaki, when the young ninja discusses the relationship he has with Naruto with the harsh treatment the two received from Jigen and Isshiki who raised him.
probably a coincidence but I love how Naruto’s Baryon Mode cloak resembles the Will of Fire symbol in this shot pic.twitter.com/zaFRIOAVH0
